Create Your Own Twitterwall with www.twitterwall.me
What is a Twitterwall or Tweetwall?
Twitterwalls or Tweetwalls are a public screen with all latest posts at twitter concerning one special keyword or hashtag. They are a new way to let people show their feedback simultaneously to a stage presentation. Twitterwalls are big screens or video projections at events like barcamps, trade fairs or conferences. With a twitterwall people in the auditorium are "talking" about what they see or hear at the event. Other people from somewhere in the world e.g. whatching a live video from the event can virtually attend and "write" the own post on the wall. Twitterwalls are also used in newsrooms to keep twitter in sight. In most cases there's a special hashtag e.g. the title of the conference or the event (#ces09, #applekeynote, #inauguration). [/caption] Your own twitterwall at the next conference or barcamps I just made a simple website called www.twitterwall.me that let you instantly create you own twitterwall. All you have to do is to insert a keyword or hashtag. Just connect you computer to a TV or video projector and your done. You can also copy and paste a image-url to brand your own twitterwall. (e.g. wiht the title of a speaker, the coference or a logo of a sponsor). That's perfect for conferences, barcamps and stages. Twitterwall for newsrooms I'm working for the media and sometimes we use our own twitterwall at the newsroom. Twitter has become an amazing source for news. With our own twitterwall we can keep some importand hashtags in sight. Some examples for Twitterwalls:

- Type in a keyword or hashtag or go directly to http://www.twitterwall.me/yourtag.
- Type in a image-url for the background-image of your own twitterwall (www.website.com/image.jpg) or copy & paste an image-url by looking for images on Google's image-search.

- Or use the following form:
How cool is that: in the meanwhile you can also create your own ready-to-use video-twitterwall with http://video.twitterwall.me. It's working with online-streaming services like www.lifestream.com (fna. mogulus.com) and OnDemand video-services like youtube, vimeo, hulu and even your own livestream-object code (e.g windows media, real or flashvideo. Users can insert an object code and build a twitterwall round the video. That is awesome for a press conference, a barcamp, a political election or any other broadcast-event. See how it works: This videotwitterwall (http://video.twitterwall.me/19930072/xboxe3) was built for the Xbox360 press conference at E3 2009. On the left hand side you see a live video by Gamespot, on the right hand side are all tweets based on the official hashtag "xboxe3".
